Friendship with God Begins With Reconciliation

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭59:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

While friendship with God shares similarities with human friendships, there are important differences as well. To begin, we must remember that this is not a relationship between equals. Friendship with God must be accepted and pursued on His terms; not ours. God is the Creator, King and Lord of the universe; we are mere creatures, and fallen ones at that. Friendship with God thus finds its origin in reconciliation with Him. We must humbly recognize that our sin has separated us from God. We need for this relationship to be mended and restored.

Is Friendship With God Possible?

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭John‬ ‭15:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬
You are my friends if you do what I command.

If we walk with God by striving daily to obey His good and beneficial laws, by loyally loving Him with all our heart and by remaining faithful to His instructions, then we can become a friend of God, just as Abraham, Noah and others were.

Brethren, If we make God our best friend by doing what He says, we will be a friend of God!

How to benefit from God’s justice?

Good morning brothers and sisters!
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:34‭-‬35‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[34] Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism [35] but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.

We benefit from God’s justice because He never shows partiality or favoritism. We can be accepted by Him and be His worshippers regardless of our race, nationality, education, or social standing.

Brethren, because God wants us to understand and benefit from His justice, He has provided us with a conscience. The Scriptures describe the conscience as a law ‘written in our hearts,’ which ‘bears witness’ as to whether our behavior is right or wrong. Therefore, to benefit, we must properly trained, our conscience can motivate us to turn away from harmful or unjust actions. And if we do make a mistake, it can move us to repent and correct our course. Indeed, an understanding of God’s sense of justice helps us and draws us to Him!

God is Just

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:28‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[28] For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish.

God always does what is right. In fact, it is unthinkable for the true God to act wickedly, for the Almighty to do wrong! His judgments are upright, as the psalmist said when addressing God: “You will judge the peoples fairly.” Because God sees into the heart, He cannot be fooled by hypocrisy but is always able to perceive the truth and make accurate judgments.

Furthermore, God is aware of every act of injustice and corruption on earth, and He has promised in Prov. 2:22 that soon the wicked will be cut off from the earth

God hasn’t changed His mind;

He is only responding to the choices we’ve made.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15:29‬ ‭NIV‬‬
He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a human being, that he should change his mind.”

Brethren, God does not change His mind. God never goes back on His promises or tells us something one day and something different the next. Unlike us, God always can be trusted to keep His Word.

God does, however, give us choices in life; and those choices have consequences. If we choose to leave God out of our lives, we can only expect to experience what God has already promised: heartache, turmoil, and judgment. If, on the other hand, we repent of our disobedience and turn in faith to Christ, God has already promised us peace and hope and salvation.

Strong People are Gentle

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[4] The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.

The stronger we become, the gentler we will be. Harshness, belittling, name calling, and bullying are signs of weakness and immaturity, not strength and maturity.

Gentleness is strength that is harnessed, channeled and controlled to produce the good God wants in our lives.

If our heart and spirit are right, when we fail to do what we should, the Holy Spirit will convict and burden us enough, what we need from others is not more condemnation, but gentleness.

We must practice gentleness

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

All of us know a loud, brash, abrasive, abrupt, harsh, threatening or intimidating personalities, and oh the harm a lack of gentleness causes in the world.

Brethren, we lack gentleness, we stiffen up inside, and when someone hurts us, instead of absorbing the shock, we just bounce that hurt back at them and everyone else, and before we know it, we are all living in a world of hurt.

Instead, God wants us to be gentle, God wants us to be calm and peaceful when surrounded by a heated atmosphere, God wants us to emit a soothing effect on those who may be angry. God wants us to practice His fruit because it helps us smooth off our rough edges and enables us to absorb the hurts of the world instead of bouncing them back out where they continue to cause untold harm.

The dangers of building our live on the wrong foundation!

Good morning brothers and sisters!
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24‭-‬27‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: [25] and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. [26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: [27] and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

In the passage, Jesus talks about two types of foundations: sand and rock. He says that anyone who builds their life on sand will eventually have it crumble away, but anyone who builds their live on a foundation of rock will stand firm.

Brethren, the sinking sand Jesus is referring to can be interpreted as any destructive habit or belief in our lives. This could include things like shortcuts, pride, flesh, envy, revenge, apathy, and even disbelief in God. When we build our lives on these things, it leaves us with a shaky foundation that will eventually come crumbling down when faced with the storms of life.

On the other hand, in order to stand firm during life’s storms, we must build our house on a rock: Jesus. We do this by placing our trust and confidence in Him and striving to live according to His Word every day. Living this way strengthens our foundation so that no matter what comes against us, we won’t fall apart.

The Lord will respond to our prayer. Still stand firm.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[15] Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

If you are still struggling to believe God because of trials, tribulations, or temptations that you are going through right now, let me encourage you that the Lord of all can set you free. He can lead you out of that miry place of doubt and confusion and give you a firm place to stand.

Let us open our arms wide to the love of Jesus and let Him lift us up. Let us trust that He is good and He loves us perfectly. He will make a way for us and keep us in His love and in His truth.

Put our trust in God

Good morning brothers and sisters!
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45:18‭-‬19‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[18] For this is what the Lord says— he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited— he says: “I am the Lord, and there is no other. [19] I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right.

Trusting the Lord is difficult for most of us as Christians. Trust may seem easy on the surface, but when the storms of life overwhelm our minds, we shift gears and default into self-protection rather than drawing near to the Lord without even thinking about it.

In many cases, trials which seem within our control to influence require greater faith to let go of. Therefore, if there’s something we have the power to change, we will act accordingly based on our knowledge and personal experience.

However, if we know we have absolutely no power or authority to influence our trials or tribulations, trust seems much easier to embrace. For example, natural disasters and terminal illnesses are areas of grave concern we have no power to stop. Therefore, it should be easier to trust in the Lord for wisdom, strength and understanding, not harder.

We can’t waver between faith and doubt

Good morning brothers and sisters!
‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭18:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[21] Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing.

We have to know what we believe and why we believe, so that when the challenges come, we are firm in our faith.

If we know that God is God and God is good, there’s no question. Don’t let the devil make you think satan has something better to offer you in the world. It’s a lie.

Only God is God and He alone knows what is best for us. He alone is the path to life, love, and victory

Take a stand for God

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

We all know that, as Christians, we will be challenged in our faith. We want to be able to stand firm.

Sometimes the challenge comes in the form of temptation. The enemy knows exactly when to target us; when we’re at our weakest. And he knows precisely what tempts us most.

Often, the challenge comes when the world’s way is counter-cultural to God’s way. We want to be accepted, and it’s difficult to always say or do the right things.

Let me remind you Brethren, Standing firm on the promises of God is not an easy task, but it has its rewards.

Be aware of false believers

Good morning brothers and sisters!.

‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬
These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.

Some people claimed to be Christians, yet they lived their lives however they wanted, doing things from unfairly playing favorites to being a loud-mouthed showoff to giving in to sexual immorality. In the above verse, Jude compares their actions to other false believers from history, who gave in to sin without a second thought. Jude warns that these arrogant people, who claim to be Christians yet continue a life of sin, will indeed receive eternal punishment.

Brethren, let us remain steadfast in our faith, awaiting God's mercy and salvation.

God's Patience

Good morning brothers and sisters!

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Brethren, it takes a lot of patience to keep doing what is good and right. This is especially true if the person who we are doing good to is not grateful or despises us. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes, do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.

Brethren, as believers of Christ, we can't be quickly provoked to anger. In other words we cannot be easily get angry when someone does something wrong or does not change like we think they should. We are to live our lives just as Jesus lived His; with patience.

God is able to keep us from falling

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, ‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:24‬

Brethren, we are living in tough times, the levels of stress are enormous, and the pressures are taking their toll on many lives, including Christian lives! In such times we need to know that God can help us and deliver us. The good news is that He is ABLE TO KEEP US FROM FALLING!

While false believers may come into our midst, God will protect us from suffering their fates. Yes, we all still sin, but that doesn't mean we can't still be steadfast in our efforts to live a holy life. God understands our struggle with sinful tendencies, but He will always hold us. Not only does He help us stand in our weakness, but He does so with the utmost joy

Name is the answer to all of our problems

Good morning brothers and sisters! Jesus'
Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13 ESV

Jesus is our Savior, and one day we'll be in Heaven with Him. But He is not just our Savior ultimately. Jesus is our Savior in any situation we're going through.

It doesn't matter how depressed we are or how far we think we are from the Lord. When we need help, we should call upon Jesus. Doing this will change the way we feel. It will change everything about us.

Brethren, God is the same way. Even when we mess up; even when we do things that may not please Him; He loves us anyhow. No matter where we are today, no matter where we find ourselves, we can call upon the Name of Jesus and return to our Heavenly Father because He loves us. He is for us. And He wants us back

Faith is a gift from God

Good morning brothers and sisters!

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
Ephesians 2:8 ESV

Jesus is the ground of our faith, and He’s also the goal of it. He’s the one who bestows faith to us. And He’s also the one who sustains our faith every day, by His own Holy Spirit dwelling in us, until we finally reach our eternal goal. And that’s resurrection, eternal life with Jesus Himself, in glory.

Brethren, reason it says Jesus is the pioneer and perfecter, or the author and finisher of our faith, because He’s the one Who brings faith to life in us, and He’s the one who keeps our faith alive.

And that’s why we look to Him alone. The eyes of our faith are fixed on Jesus. He’s the only reason we’re in this race to begin with. He’s the only reason our scarred, feeble legs can move at all. And He’s the one who will be there at the finish line, to embrace us, to welcome us, and to crown us with eternal life.

Peace of God

Good morning brothers and sisters!

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 NIV

Money has a way of creating more worries, health is so fragile, youth is temporary and usually not appreciated by those who possess it, power corrupts, and great intelligence leads to pride, but peace of mind is precious at every season of life, every position in society and every level of ability.

This Peace of mind was God's peace, the peace that we experienced when our heart and soul rested securely with God. Isaiah, the prophet, put it this way in chapter 26, "God will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord.

Ask God for help with prayer

Good morning brothers and sisters! Ask God for help with prayer.

You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:14 NIV

Because prayer doesn’t come naturally, our hearts are wayward, and our circumstances change, we desperately need God to help us pray; and this means we need Him to transform our hearts, the seat of our deepest desires. If prayer is merely something we add to our “spiritual checklist,” a joyless obligation, then we’ll pray for all the wrong reasons and never be transformed. But if God were to change our hearts, then we’d yearn for prayer because we first and foremost desire Him.

Brethren, if we've been discouraged by our apathy toward prayer, here is the good news: Jesus lived and died and resurrected so our hearts would be made new and our desires changed! He gave His life for our apathy and wayward desires, bearing our sin, and now He lives to intercede for us when we ask God to change our hearts. So let us ask for His help today. He delights to give it.

Getting into the habit of praying

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray. Luke 5:15-16

Too often in the middle of doing great things we tend to become people of action and forget to underpin all of our actions with prayer. Jesus Himself, who was God’s own son, needed to pray often in order to sustain His incredible ministry which included healing many people. This verse also reminds us of the need to make prayer a regular habit so we can be continually refilled and rejuvenated with spiritual power.

Brethren, prayer is among the most powerful spiritual tools that us as Christian can use in our journey toward the Kingdom of God. Nobody can claim that they are a Christian without developing the habit of prayer. Prayer is also a divine weapon that we can always use to win our spiritual battle. We can read from the Scripture the different powers of prayer and how it changed the lives of many.

Pray God for anything

Good morning brothers and sisters!

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14 NIV

This advice on prayer was written to early church members to encourage them to pray to God about anything and everything that troubled them. It gives a pattern for a straight forward way of praying where we are encouraged to present our requests to God with thankful hearts.

Some once told me that they weren’t praying for a new job, which they desperately needed, because they felt like they shouldn’t bother God with it since there were other people with much bigger needs like serious diseases. This Bible verse tells us God’s ears and heart are always open to hear about anything, big or small, that makes us feel anxious or worried.

We need to see God in everything

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 NIV

Many of us firmly believe miraculous. Praise God, we need to believe in the miraculous; but, you see, there's a danger here that sometimes that's the only way some of us believe that God is at work, when He does something supernatural, when He does something out of the ordinary. Listen Brethren: we need to be very careful, because if we're only looking for the miraculous and the supernatural, that is the first thing that will sap us of faith. We need to see God in everything!

It is impossible to please God without faith

Good morning brothers and sisters!

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6 NIV

To understand this verse we first have to understand that Faith is Trust. Once we understand that, we can understand why it is impossible to please God without faith. If we could please God without faith, we could please God without trusting Him.

Brethren, no one has given more, loved more, or done more for people than God. He is constantly loving and helping people, and even sent His only begotten Son to be tortured and killed for us. If after all He has done, someone still does not trust that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him, then God is not pleased with that person. God cannot help and bless the person the way He would like to, and the person will not be able to love God and work for Him as he should. That is not to say that God is not pleased when an unbeliever starts to seek God and his faith is building. Of course He is pleased with that.

Now to come to God, of course, we have to believe that He is. We're not going to come to God as an atheist or agnostic, and there is that initial faith of a belief in the existence of God. But that statement also means, believe that He is, that we've got to believe that He's active, not just that He exists, but He is active and He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him; that God is at work and, for that matter, even when it appears that He's not working at all.

God is pure love

Good morning brothers and sisters!

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; James 1:13 NIV

God never wishes harm to anyone. The idea that it is God’s will that bad things happen to people is not only misguided but potentially devastating. How can people love a God who wishes them ill or has hurt them? Some Churches teach that God wills only good for all His people. There is nothing more important to our Creator than for every one of us to have as much happiness and fulfillment as humanly possible. When bad things happen, God feels our pain, He is very present with us, and works to bring out the best in a bad situation.

What we must remember is that God takes the long view. His goal is not to give us temporary and perhaps superficial and fleeting comfort in this world, but rather looks to our eternal welfare.

Believe, Accept, and freely choose God

Good morning brothers and sisters!

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 NIV

There is an invisible and gentle current in each one of our lives that can peacefully carry us to happiness and Heaven. It is always there for us, whenever we want to let go and trust the way. Even in what might appear as the worst of times, that stream is flowing and can carry us to all things blessed. We can trust that we are being cared for, that our eternal happiness is the most important thing God has in mind for us, and that all of creation flows toward this end. Our choice is to believe this, accept it, and freely choose it.

Brethren, God provides constantly that the choice for good is always present, and continually lifts us up from our pain and our doubt to freedom to live and love again. The real question is, can we trust this? Can we find the good, or at least pursue it, and allow the force of love and life to lift us up? When we do this, we can heal and even grow. And this growth is eternal.

Omnipresence of God

Good morning brothers and sisters!

The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. Proverbs 15:3 NIV

God’s omnipresence and the manifestation of His presence are two different things. One is a fact; the other is often a feeling. It’s a fact that God is omnipresent; He’s always there, even when we’re unaware of Him. Even when we don’t feel His presence, we can always trust the fact that God is there. His presence is too profound to be measured just by emotion.

Yes, God wants us to sense His presence, but He’s more concerned that we trust Him than that we feel Him. We live by faith, not by sight or by our feelings.

Our joy and purpose in life is Christ

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, James 1:2 NIV

The key is for us to look to Christ, not to our situation, and declare our
circumstances as joy. We are to be content and satisfied, to face them, and then learn and grow from them. This does not mean to give up and do nothing; it means to refocus our energies into productivity and faith; not questions and bitterness. It is to have our convictions and fulfillment in Christ, not circumstances. So, when something very difficult comes upon us, we will have the great comfort that God is in control and will not allow us to carry more than we can tolerate. Our joy and purpose in life is Christ, and our relationship in Him!

Brethren, let us remember to place Joy in all aspects of our live and expectations. If we are having problems take a serious look at despair and where it will get us,
because there can be no delight without joy! We can have no true confidence
without joy. What we suffer through, what we go through, what we give up is in no comparison to what we gain

Opposition will lead to eternal rewards

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Matthew 5:10‭-‬11 NIV

When we feel pressured by the world because we love Jesus and other people don’t, we need to remember one thing: Opposition will lead to eternal rewards.

God will bless everyone who’s persecuted for living for Him. But notice that we don’t get rewarded for being rude or obnoxious. If we live a self-righteous life when we get persecuted, we’re not a martyr; we’re a fool.

We don’t get rewarded for being rude. We get rewarded for being like Jesus. When we live out our faith, do it with gentleness and respect, just like Jesus, and we will be rewarded for it one day in Heaven.

God is not done with us yet.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 NIV

Brethren, we’re all a work in process. The enemy would like to convince us that we can never be good enough. And that’s partially true; without Christ we can never be good enough. But with Christ, we are more than good enough. We’re cleansed from all unrighteousness. If we’ve confessed it, He’s forgiven us; and He has removed our sin from us as far as the east is from the west.

So let us not running from Jesus, run to Him. Let us confess our sins to Him, leave them with Him and trust Him to finish the work He has begun in our live.

It's Imperative to worship God.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

O Sing unto the LORD a new song: Sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; Shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, His wonders among all people.
Psalm 96:1‭-‬3 KJV

We’re told how to extend God's kingdom. We’re to proclaim His salvation. We’re also told when to do it day after day. And, we’re told where to do it among the nations. Our message is the gospel, our method is to share the Good News daily, and our mandate is to take it to all peoples.

Brethren, When we fall in love with the Lord Jesus, which is one of the benefits of corporate worship, we will want to tell everyone. When we are full of His presence in our live we can’t help but share the Good News.

We are nothing without Christ.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31 ESV

God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and freedom of choice. We choose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

Brethren, our choice results in separation from God. We, as people have tried in many ways to bridge this gap between ourselves and God. Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people. Therefore, let us accept Christ as our Lord and Savior. When we believe in Christ, we are saved from the danger of the future death and our destination will be Heaven and not the Lake of fire

Keep our mind on God.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Psalms 19:14 NKJV

With the right thoughts, we can live in Peace instead of Fear and Worry! With the right thoughts, we can have Joy and not Depression and Despair! With the right thoughts, we will make right choices and be an overcomer! But If we think the wrong thoughts, we will stay confused, depressed defeated, bitter and in bondage!

A life of Power and Victory doesn’t depend on what happens to us or what others do to us! But whether or not we keep our thoughts on God! Having Godly thoughts will set our live free and move our live toward our destiny!

So, If we want confidence and stability in our live, let us keep our thoughts on God! Let us choose to think on the things God says to think on; that is the direction our live will go!.

God is not far from us

Good morning brothers and sisters!

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Psalm 145:18 ESV

Brethren, we might feel like God is far away from us right now, but our feelings and reality do not always match. The truth is, God is with us always.

When we are afraid, we need to trust in God. We need to put our hope in God. We will get through this. We all need to remember that God is not far from us right now. God is as close as our next heartbeat. He is right there with us every moment of the day.

Appearances and first impressions are not always accurate!

Good morning brothers and sisters!
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.
Proverbs 14:12 ESV

Everything in our lives comes down to which of these two paths we choose. One seems right to us by our own human judgment, but God’s judgment tells us otherwise.
Mankind’s way often makes sense to us, but it has cost the world dearly. Countless billions have lived and died in suffering because humanity refuses to follow God’s way. The wisdom of man is only an illusion, leading its followers astray.

In the end, God’s way results in freedom from pain, suffering and death. God’s way is the definition of wisdom. He gives His followers exactly what they need to overcome the world’s destructive ways and attain eternal life.

Brethren, let us not be hasty! Let us act like Christians using the Word of God to gain insight and make right decisions! Let us look beyond appearances, as far as we can! Let us study deeper going beyond the first impressions. Let us try to find out, for sure, that which is good. As it says in 2 Thess 5:21, let us "Test all things; hold fast what is good,"

God cares most about our intimate circle.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man,
Proverbs 22:24 ESV

It is important to know that as a follower of Jesus, we will be tempted by satan to form ungodly friendships. he will try to bring into our live someone who can destroy everything godly in us! We may think, “Wait a minute! We don’t want to start doubting our friends.” If our true friends, knit together by the Spirit of Christ, we have nothing to fear in examining our relationships with them.

Bible says, a true, godly friend will always take the side of God’s Word in any matter, and not just our side because we are friends. Such a friend will love us enough to tell us the truth, even though it may hurt at times.

Trust In the Lord With All Your Heart

Good morning brothers and sisters!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Brethren, we are not supposed to figure out our path through this life alone. God will guide us throughout all the twists and turns of life. He will protect us and take care of us. He will lead us to a life of freedom and purpose greater than any life we could carve out for ourselves.

Let us allowing God to be our guide begins with a commitment to trust. God cannot lead us where we will not follow. We must grow our desire for God’s instruction and guidance.
If we’ll let Him, God will guide us in and out of every circumstance by tugging on our spirits and speaking to our hearts. With God in charge of our live, we will be perfectly led. He’s given us all we will ever need to go through life with Him as our guide. We just have to trust Him to lead us better than we can lead ourselves

We must depend on God everyday for everything

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion in the book of Psalms 62:7 (NKJV)

"In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is                                                                                 in God."

We can fall into the trap of thinking we did the work that earned the money that put the food on the table, the roof over our heads and the clothes on our backs. How easy it is to think we are independent from God. However, that is not the case. We depend on God everyday for everything and our prayer lives must show our dependence upon Him for all the things we need.

When the disciples came to Jesus in Luke 11 and ask Him to teach them to pray, He taught them to be dependent on God for everything through prayer. He did this by teaching them What to say, which is the expression of our dependence on God through words; What to do, which is the expression of our dependence on God through persistence; and, What to expect, which is the expression of our dependence on God through an expectation of good gifts from Him.

Brethren, we have an everyday need for God, not just in the big moments of life but in every facet because we are totally dependent on Him. Jesus taught us to express that dependence on God in our words, our actions, and through our expectations. Let’s be people who not only recognize our need but express that need through prayer

Putting on God's protection.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,       against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual                              hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

There are dark, spiritual forces at work. We can’t see them, but they’re very real. We also need protection from our own natural tendencies that steer us wrong, and from the harm that others may unintentionally or intentionally cause us.

Putting on God’s protection is like getting dressed in the morning. We wouldn’t consider leaving home naked, but there’s a spiritual nakedness that leaves us vulnerable and open for attack.

God is our Solid Rock.

Good morning brothers and sisters!
We find this daily devotion from the Book of Psalms 118:22 (NKJV)

"The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone."

Brethren, It’s God who lays the true cornerstone of life; not man. No other stone can be trusted than the one He has laid. And the stone that God lays is a truly reliable one. No one will be disappointed who builds on it.

God promised in the above verse that men would reject this stone to their own loss. But their rejection made no difference to Him. It is still the stone that He Himself lays. Men may reject it; but God exalts it and declares its value.

And because it is the stone that God Himself establishes, those who seek to build their lives upon some other stone in rebellion against His way for them will in the end be disappointed

Beware of false prophets.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the Gospel of Matthew 7:15 (NKJV)

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly                                                          they are ravenous wolves."

In this verse, Jesus warned about the danger of false prophets that lead many astray. They are dangerous because if we believe their lies, they will change us internally. They can affect who we really are and our eternal destiny. They come and deceive by presenting falsehood as the truth. Jesus gave warning about them because they do not appear as the wolves they really are, but as friends of the flock. They come wearing sheep’s clothing, the garments of the shepherd. They appear as those who come to feed and lead the flock, but instead, they feed off the flock and exploit it for their own gain.

Brethren, If a people do not bear the fruit of the righteous, it does not matter what they look like, what they sound like, what they say they believe or who they associate with. Jesus’ warning is that if their fruit is bad, then so are they. They are false prophets. They are not leading us through the narrow gate onto the narrow path that leads to life. They are standing at the wide gate inviting us to join them on the broad path leading to destruction.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the Gospel of John 16:17 (NKJV)

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do  not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to                                                                                      you.

God with us, helping and empowering us to live a flourishing life that radiates the goodness of God. When we are feeling powerless or tired or like we're failing at life, we can have confidence as a believer that we're not alone. We can start each day knowing the Holy Spirit is there to help us. He is the power that sustains, energizes, and keeps us on a holy path. Let us not hesitate to invite Him in.

Listen to the Voice of God.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the Second Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians 4:16 (NKJV)

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet                                       the inward man is being day by day."

As believers, we must learn to pay attention to the lack of peace we feel in our spirits. Sometimes that lack of peace or inward disturbance is God’s way of alerting us to something important or of telling us that something isn’t right. God lovingly tries to spare us from problems and catastrophes. However, if we don’t pay attention to the still, small voice in our hearts when the Holy Spirit tenderly speaks to us, we will end up with troubles that could have been altogether avoided or corrected before they got out of hand.

Brethren, God is faithful to speak to us; but His voice can often be heard only by what we sense in our own heart. If we sense peace in our heart, it could be the Holy Spirit telling us, “we have a green light, so we can proceed.” But if we have a lack of peace or an inward disturbance, never forget that it could be God’s way of saying “Yellow light, so proceed with caution.” Or He may even be telling us, “Red alert! Stop! Something is wrong!

Seeking God's Peace

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the gospel of Matthew 5:9 (NKJV)

"Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God."

Contentment with life or with our family and our Savior is another step in a totally different direction. Being content and happy with our family is an up and down ride. One day or maybe next week or an hour from now, it could all blow up in our face. That is what “walking with your family” means and just as Jesus spoke of walking with Him, our spiritual life can have ups and downs too.

There are times when we may have a day or two off from work and everything goes pretty well….then all hell breaks loose and things get sour quickly! A bill didn’t get paid on time or the dishes aren’t washed yet or someone woke up on a tack because of a dream or something.

Those are the days when we need a place to go or someone to seek. Someone who can help us. Those are the days we need to seek God's peace. Seeking God’s peace in spite of the sounds around us and the problems which will still be there is imperative for anyone. We have to seek out the calming Presence in the midst of the storm because He is the only One Who can bring calm to it and give us the wisdom to get through it.

We all will be judged before God.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotions from the Gospel of Matthew 7:2 (NKJV)

"For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure                                                 you use, it will be measured back to you."

Yes, each of us will be judged in one way or another. If you are a Christian and have Jesus as your Savior then you will be judged by what you did for God’s Kingdom.

If you are not a Christian, then every word and deed that you have ever done in your life will be brought before you to convict you of your sins and to prove that you deserve to be punished in hell. Not for the sins, but for refusing to give your heart to Jesus! That is the sin which condemns you to hell.

Brethren, let us make sure of our salvation while we can in this life because when this one is over we can’t rewind and fix it.

Don't wait until it's too late to come to Christ.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the book of Isaiah 55:6 (NKJV)

"Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near."

God’s love and compassion for us are also expressed in His patience toward us because we are very stubborn in our sinful lives and we don’t want to follow His ways until we are ready. The problem with that is that we don’t have a clue about our the brevity of our lives! We are not guaranteed tomorrow. As the saying goes “today is the day of salvation”! Tomorrow isn’t here until it is and we may not have much time in the day or the week ahead to give our live to Jesus and repent of our sins.

None of us can know if we are going into another day, week, month or year because it isn’t a certainty. A wreck or a heart attack or a stroke could take our live at any time between now and then and if we haven’t made the decision to follow Jesus and believe in His atonement for our sins, then we'll cross from this life into judgment and hell.

Brethren, God loves each of us and this is shown in His Word, so don’t wait until it's too late to give your life to Jesus Christ.

Not because someone is talking about God meaning he/she will go to Heaven.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotions from the Gospel of Matthew 7:21 (NKJV)

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven,                                    but he who does the will of My Father in heaven."

In this verse, Jesus said but those who does the will of of the Father which mean the “will of command.”

Jesus goes on to describe those who will be able to call upon His name on the day of judgment. It will be those who hear His words and put them into practice. Jesus said those who obediently do the will of the Father in Heaven.

Brethren, The Bible describes true believers in Galatians 5:22-23 as the good trees that produce good fruit; the true sheep who look to Christ, depend on Him, commit themselves to Him, trust in Him, and believe on Him for righteousness, salvation, and eternal life. These are the ones who will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Nothing ever catches God by surprise.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotions from the book of Psalm 139:16. The Bible says that even before we were born, God knew all of our future:

“Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Brethren, God knows everything about our faults and failures and our feelings and frustrations, and He also knows what our tomorrow holds. He knows our future.

God can see past, present, and future all at once. That should give us great confidence in God. It’s comforting to me that He knows everything that is going to happen in my life. He not only knows about the future, He’s also there in the future. He not only walks with us day by day, He can also walk in our future.

God is already prepared for everything you’re going to face tomorrow, next week, and next month. What the future holds may surprise us, but it doesn’t surprise God.

A Godly Husband has good communication skills.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

This daily devotion is found in the Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians 4:15

"Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in                                            every way into him who is the head, into Christ."

A Godly husband knows the importance of communication. He will not slander or speak low of others. He will be open to talking through all matters of life, including conflicts. His words uplift others because he speaks affirmation and wisdom. A godly husband does not avoid conversations that are needed to be had. He’ll take the time to listen before speaking.

Brethren, although each one of us has our own personal style of communication, learning to communicate well and openly is increasingly important in our marriages, especially in today’s world that primarily communicates through technology.

A Godly Husband is responsible.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the First Epistle of Paul to Timothy 5:8 (NKJV)

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his         household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."

A Godly Husband steps up to responsibilities. Before taking on the role of a husband, a godly man will evaluate his heart and desire to take on the task of being responsible for those under his care. This does not only apply to putting a physical roof over their heads, but also being a provider of spiritual and emotional support. As such, even before marriage, a godly man will ensure he can adequately provide for the ones God puts under his care.

"Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we                                   have heard, lest we drift away."

A godly man walking in sync with God will not wait around for his “happily ever after” to fall into his lap. A man who is in tune with the gifts and talents God has given him will use his free time doing what he’s been called by God to do. Because He knows He is first and foremost a servant of God. He’s committed his life to serving God and firmly believes everything else will be added to him at the given time.

Fight Your Battles With Worship.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the book of Acts 16:25 (NKJV)

"But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them."

Brethren, we can fight our battles with worship. We can fight it on our knees in our prayer closet, we can fight by praying during our 20 second hand washing. We can fight our battles by praising God when we get out of our house and walk around the block. We can also fight our battles with singing songs that speak God’s truth. When we sing these Truths we speak against the lies of the enemy. The lyrics and melodies of songs can replace the negativity in our thoughts and allow us to focus on characteristics and attributes of God instead.

Let us find a gospel songs. It could be a hymn. It could be a song on the Christian radio. It could be a song we sing at church. Whatever song we choose may it’s Truth echo so loudly in our head that the voice of the enemy is drowned out and no longer has influence in our live.

Fight Your Battles With Scripture.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the second epistle of Paul to the Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV)

'Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

God’s word is a constant. It is never changing. The Bible might not cover every situation that we will face, but we can use it’s truth to speak against anything we are facing. In its pages we can find hope, joy, peace, love, grace, forgiveness, lament, anger, and many other themes that apply to every emotion we face.

Brethren, the above verse is speaking the loudest when we are doubting ourselves. It says to take our weakness and our unqualified self before God. We must acknowledged that we don’t have the skills, the talent, the knowledge, or the background to make it work. We must surrendered it all before God; He will somehow gives us the strength to push through the uncertainty, the pain, the stress, and the nay-sayers.

Sanctification in Christ

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the First Epistle of Paul to the Thessalonians 4:4 (NKJV)

"that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,"

By the righteousness of Christ we have been delivered from the guilt and penalty of sin, so by the power and life of Christ living in us we are delivered from the dominion of sin, so as not to live any longer therein.

In other word, true servants of God cannot live in sin; that by reason of our newness of life in Christ, it is not possible that we should continue to yield our members instruments unto iniquity. We have passed out of the realm of death, we have come into the domain of life; and, therefore, we must act according to that life; and that life being in its essence Pure, Holy and Heavenly, we must proceed from Righteousness unto Holiness.

Only one way to Heaven.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the gospel of John 14:16 (NKJV)

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Many today do not consider that they are sinners but see themselves as good people, especially in comparison with others they consider less worthy than they. Many try to find an alternative route to Heaven, believing that their 'good' deeds, generous giving, and acts of kindness to others, will earn them a place in God's Heavenly home!

While prideful man imagined a variety of ways to be saved and invented many paths to get into Heaven, God in His wisdom purposed that there would be one way to be saved, and one way alone. God determined that there would only be one way to be forgiven of sin; one way to be redeemed; one way to be declared righteous; one way to gain eternal life. And Jesus told us, "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no man comes to the Father but by Me." Brethren, No man can gain eternal life and enter Heaven except through faith in Jesus.

We were saved to serve

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the epistle of Paul to the Ephesians 4:7 (NKJV)

"But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift."

God longs to use us because He loves us. He’s not selfish. He doesn’t need our help. He wants to work with us. He wants our live to matter. He wants us to have eternal reward for the things we do here on earth because He’s a good Father who longs to give good gifts to His children. He wants us to stop segregating our live into “God time” and “me time” and start living in continual communion with Him.

Brethren, God wants to use you. You can be an instrument of God in His work. And He will give you everything you need to accomplish that work. Just respond as the great prophet Isaiah did when he heard God’s call, “I will go! Send me!”. Like the prophet of old testament, as you are sensing the Lord's plans for your life, respond obediently with something like: "God, use me as your instrument, your vessel, your servant."

With God, we lack nothing.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotion from the gospel of Matthew 6:28 (NKJV)

       “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field,                                   how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;

God doesn't want us to live our lives with a sense of lack. David said, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall have no lack of what I need."

Brethren, we shall have no lack of what we need for living the abundant fruitful life. Now that doesn't mean that we'll always have lots of money in the bank. That doesn't mean that we'll always be able to buy a new car every year. That doesn't mean that we'll be able to go shopping all the times. That's not what it means. What it does mean is that God will meet every need we have to fulfill His purpose for us here upon this earth.

God is an incomparable Shepherd

Good morning brothers and sisters! .

We find this daily devotion from the book of Psalms 23:1 (NKJV)

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."

David says, God is his Shepherd. Wow, a shepherd generally has to do with ruling or guiding. A shepherd was charged with the responsibility or having his sheep in the proper pasture with the best grazing land and in a place where they can be safe. David is saying here that the Lord is my boss.

Brethren, the Lord ought to be our boss. He ought to determine where we will go and when we will be there. He knows what's going to happen to us tomorrow. It will not take Him by surprise. Listen the Shepherd knows our need. He knows where we are. He knows our heart, our fear, and our failings. Let the Lord be your shepherd!

Jesus is the way to calm our anxious heart

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotions from the Epistle of Paul to the Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,                  with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;"

When we feel anxious, we are often focused on all the things going wrong around us. When circumstances feel out of our control, fear blinds us to the truth. The truth is that Jesus is right there with us in whatever situation we face. Jesus experienced anxiety, and He understands how we feel. We find the strength to keep going when we shift our focus from our circumstances onto Jesus.

Jesus fills us with His peace because He overcomes the trials of life. We are called to be concerned, not anxious. Concern moves us to act with courage. Concern moves us to conquer problems and difficulties in life

Brethren, we are to walk with Jesus. We are to pray about everything; Hold nothing back. No matter how small or insignificant the need may seem, Jesus wants to handle it for us.

Keep the same faith in God no matter what.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotions from the Gospel of Mark 4:38 (NKJV)

But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and                    said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

The disciples didn't ask Jesus to take care of the storm. They have no confidence Jesus can take care of such a huge problem. At that moment, it’s most important that He cares about them. Yet, His seeming unawareness also communicates He doesn’t know what to do. He is oblivious and selfish. He only cares about His own comfort and weariness.

Same with many of us today, we tell ourselves Jesus is God and unlimited in power, but when He doesn’t perform according to our specifications, we doubt He is equal to the task. We are worried, desperately trying to use a bucket to dump the water out of the sinking boat. We feel abandoned, believing He doesn’t care.

Let me tell you that Jesus was not angry with the disciples for doubting Him, but He was urging them to trust Him; to have increasing faith. He is teaching them. When He asks, “Don’t you remember all the things I’ve already done for you? Don’t you realize I am God who is showing you who your God really is? Just as I easily calmed this storm which seemed insurmountable to you, there is nothing that is too hard for me. Next time remember what I just did and have faith I’ll do the right, loving and caring thing for you next time.”

Brethren, God is never change and His power never decreases. What He did for us in the can also be done today and tomorrow if we continue to have faith in God.

God is a God of hills and valley.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

This daily devotions is find in the first book of Kings 20:28 (NKJV)

"Then a man of God came and spoke to the king of Israel, and said, “Thus     says the Lord: ‘Because the Syrians have said, “The Lord is God of the hills, but He is not God of the valleys,” therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into                              your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’ ”

Many times in our lives we find ourselves in the middle of the valley, We are weak, tired, empty and alone. We feel so far from the presence and the anointing of God. And when we call on Him we feel like we get a busy signal.

We are like the man who went to the doctor; the doctor says to the patient I have bad news, and I have worse news. The patient says ok lets have it. The doctor says the bad news is that we only have 24 hrs. to live!. The patient says I can’t imagine what could be worse than that!! The doctor replies I forgot to tell you yesterday.

But I want you to Know brethren that God is not only the God of the mountain but He is God of every valley that you will face in your life. The valley is the place that our faith is put to the test. Of course, it the valley will be hard but God will care for us in the valley. God will bring us out. Remember, weeping may endure for a night, but Joy Comes in the morning.

Success is a product of our work.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotions in the Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which                          God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

When reading the parable about the talents in Matthew 25, we are tempted to feel sorry for the servant who received only one talent, but in reality he received as much as a million dollars from the master and buried it in his back yard. He was given more than enough to meet the master’s expectations.

Just as the master expected his servants to do more than passively preserve what has been entrusted to them, so God expects us to generate a return by using our talents towards productive ends. The servants were given enough to produce more – it is the same with the gifts God has given us.

Brethren, we are to work, using our talents to glorify God, serve the common good, and further God’s kingdom. Biblical success is working diligently in the here and now using all the talents God has given us to produce the return expected by the Master.

Insecurity can cause raging storms.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotions in the Epistle of Paul to the Philippians 2:5 (NKJV)

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,"

Whenever we look to man for acceptance and approval rather than God, we will be insecure. Let God control us so that the love of God can flow out through our spirit until we are secure in Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. If we are not secure in Him, we will have no real security in this final hour, saith the Lord. Let's find our place in Jesus Christ, for our insecurities of the past must be melted away through the pure love of God.

Keep faith alive

Good morning brothers and sisters!

We find this daily devotions from the Epistle of Paul to James 2:14 (NKJV)

"What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not                                                    have works? Can faith save him?"

When faith is real, it reaches and benefits others. We’ve missed biblical faith if we are more concerned about what God can do for us rather than what God can do through us. Far too often, we, as people talk more about what we believe than actually living out what we believe. When faith orthodoxy (belief) is not married to faith orthopraxy (function), then faith is useless.

Brethren, until we step up and do God’s will according to our faith in His person and proclamation in Scripture, we won’t see God. We need to get to work activating our faith and remembering that God will only use us when we are in the posture of submission and obedience.

God is waiting on our call

Good morning brothers and sisters!

But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
Mark 4:38 NKJV

Just because God is quiet, just because He does not always make Himself known, it does not mean He is not on board our ship or that He does not care. He is there, and He does care. He is ready to help us do that which we cannot do for ourselves; but He waits for our calls.

The storms of life can be just as ferocious for us in this final hour as they were for the disciples. Like the disciples, we need help. Make sure Jesus is on board our ship; make sure we really believe in Him and what He has said. Every word He speaks contains all might, all strength, all courage, all power to defeat whatever adversity that may come against us daily

The Work of Ministry Belongs to the Holy Spirit

Good morning brothers and sisters!

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. John 16:13 NKJV

As believers, we must fall in line with the Holy Spirit and let Him take the lead in our lives so that we will be empowered to do the work that God has given us and to live in humble obedience to the leading and the guidance of the Spirit. Then the Spirit will work through us in power and bring success to the ministry work we are doing for the Kingdom.

Jesus modeled this for us, and we are called to lead those we disciple by loving them and serving them, just as Jesus loved us and served us by giving up everything to go to the cross

God is Trustworthy

Good morning brothers and sisters!

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:9 KJV

God is always there for us, no matter what we are going through. He is always willing to help us and is always interested in our lives. We can trust God because He is always faithful and true to His word.

When we are going through a tough time, it is comforting to know that we can rely on God to help us get through it. He is a loving God who is always there for us, and He will never forsake us. We can trust Him to be there for us when we need Him the most

God is impartial

Good morning brothers and sisters!

How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, Nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? For they all are the work of his hands. Job 34:19 KJV

God plays no favorites. He makes no allowances for one person that He will not make for others as well. There is no such thing as being God's fair-haired boy. He does not give any more to one than He does to another, in accordance with the promises that He makes. Any who are willing to fulfill the conditions of the promises will find His blessing poured out upon them, regardless of who they are; and any who presume upon these conditions will find Him sitting in judgment upon them and His Word condemning them no matter who they are

We are nothing without Jesus Christ

Good morning brothers and sisters!

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5 KJV

Many believe that there is no God. Others believe that even if God does exist, man is capable of surviving and prospering without Him. But could we survive, let alone prosper, without God?

See, It is easy for us to get caught up in things we think we have accomplished in life. We often fail to give proper credit for our abilities, accomplishments, and successes. The fact is that everything we have in life, including our live, our families, our friends, our jobs, houses, cars, the ability to see, the ability to hear, the ability to eat, our freedom, our thoughts, everything we are or will become, we owe to God. We would not take our next breath if it weren’t for the goodness of God. We wouldn’t exist if God hadn’t made us to love us.

Brethren, we must understand that without God, we are powerless, defenseless, and helpless. God adopted us and became our Father, giving us the ability to grow in our desire to serve Him, and the power to serve Him. In order to do this, we need to fully submit to his direction in life

Be careful of who our friends are

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
1 Corinthians 15:33 ESV

God saw fit to warn us about this because the people we let into our lives, is who we become.

Yes, as Christians, we can still love people, accept and forgive them. And yes, they can be our friends. But, we must be careful who is in our inner circle that will influence the quality and direction of our live.

Especially, If we are a new believer, we cannot hang out with the old friends like we used to and think we will not be affected. It just doesn’t work that way. That doesn’t mean to imply all our friends are bad. What it does mean is to make sure our inner circle is taking us in the direction of maturing as a Christian.
